Further to my post two days ago I have now read that former Solicitors Family Law Association (now
Resolution) chairman David Burrows is attempting to challenge the recent court fees hike. Not surprisingly, his application for judicial review has been rejected and he is now applying to the Court of Appeal. He calls the new fees a 'tax on divorce'. I wish him luck in his appeal, but I won't be holding my breath...
