Following on from my two earlier posts, it's pleasing to see that Catholic adoption agencies will have no exemption from the provisions of the Equality Act, allowing them to discriminate against gay and lesbian couples applying for adoption. My only question is: why have they been given twenty-one months to prepare for the change? Exactly what 'preparation' is required?

Equality for all (eventually)
Following on from my two earlier posts, it's pleasing to see that Catholic adoption agencies will have no exemption from the provisions of the Equality Act, allowing them to discriminate against gay and lesbian couples applying for adoption.
