A day in the life...

Further to my last post, The Guardian has been running other stories relating to World Social Work Day, including an article following two newly qualified child protection workers for a day, and an audio slideshow following one of them. These seem to me to give a good impression of the typical work of a social worker involved in child protection. Indeed, they bring back distant (and not particularly pleasant) memories of the child-care work I did long ago. Again, definitely worth a read/look.
