Incendiary

Many was the time through my career that a client would come in to see me bearing a set of divorce papers that had been hastily sellotaped back together. It's understandable that when you're upset at receiving divorce papers then the first reaction might be to rip them to shreds. However, it seems that Shawn Gawronski had rather more incendiary ideas when he was served with his divorce papers. Instead of tearing them up, he apparently took them to his wife's shop in Frenchtown, Montana, and used them to set fire to the place. Definitely inadvisable - Gawronski has now been charged with arson, and faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or a $50,000 fine.
