Tribute to Christopher Hitchens

A tribute to the late, great and much missed Christopher Hitchens. Watch out in particular for the part where he touches upon circumcision, something that would surely be child abuse if it weren't shielded by religion:

Thanks for posting the reminder, John. I didn't always agree with Hitchens but we need people who are unafraid to provoke and offend and nobody could savage religion and bigotry like him.
I felt the same about his death as I did about Bill Hicks- the world lost something precious.
The bit about the virgin birth is priceless.
His attack on Mother Theresa is sadly missing from the compilation but I'm guessing you've read the book?

    1. Yes, I loved the bit about the virgin birth too!

I certainly have read the book, and would recommend it to anyone. It was wonderful the way he attacked Mother Teresa (and others), ignoring the 'respect' surrounding her.
