Great choice, John. I remember learning it as a teenager in the 70's.

ReplyDeleteThat was the other track that was on my list of favourites for the beautiful intro. “Angel” was another beautiful ballad. Everyone focuses on his extraordinary guitar playing and it’s easy to forget that he was a great singer and songwriter too.
There is some sick cosmic principle in the fact that he is long gone while the likes of Bono and Cliff Richard are alive and thriving.
