Something for the Weekend: Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Thirty years ago today the premier of Pink Floyd's The Wall was held at The Empire, Leicester Square (the album itself had been released in 1979). Comfortably Numb was my favourite (and, I think, the best) track from the album. Here is the band (complete with Roger Waters) playing it at Live 8 in 2005:

    Brilliant stuff, John. I remember seeing this and how flawlessly Dave Gilmour reproduced one of the best guitar solos of all time and his own second best ("Time" of Dark side of the moon is my fave)
    "Hey you" was another great track on that album.
